The Royal Wedding had caught the imagination of the people and for months any tid-bit about the wedding plan or preparation was circulated as news and was lapped up by the reading and viewing public. Now it is the wedding of another Kate which has generated a lot of curiosity amongst the people. Supermodel and sartorial icon Kate Moss has tied the knot with her long-time rocker boyfriend Jamie Hince at a private ceremony conducted at her Costwolds home. Apart from the couple, the friends and the planners made it the most fashionable wedding this year.
The cool couple looked stunning and absolutely incredible in dresses and looks specially designed for them. Kate wed her rocker boyfriend in a slim fitting dress by John Galliano who was till some time ago was the creative director of Dior. The bias-cut dress in cream had sheer paneling and light sequins. The groom was clean shaven for the occasion and looked dashing in a fitted, powder-blue suit by Yves Saint Laurent. Kate’s dress was accessorized with Manolo Blahnik’s heels. Makeup artist Charlotte Tilbury had kept the makeup to a minimal level for the natural look.
Kate’s friend Stella McCartney also contributed two other looks for the evening. There were a total of fifteen bridesmaid and they all wore white Stella McCartney dresses, ballet pumps and flower head garlands for the occasion. Her daughter Lila acted as the chief bridesmaid. The pictures of the events after the wedding ceremony have not come out as yet but it is reported that Kate opted for a medley of Stella McCartney designs as the evening progressed. The guest list as one can expect had the most glamorous names from the fashion world including Naomi Campbell, Anna Wintour, Marc Jacobs and Carine Roitfeld.
