‘FLOAT! Thinktank 21’, The Weightless Out Of The World Experience

Ever heard of the ‘Dancing on the Ceiling: Art & Zero Gravity’? Well, let us tell you that this one is a rather unique group which provides a great opportunity to contemporary artists today. It lets them explore and recreate the weightlessness on earth, of course the artistic way!

This year’s event was no different except for that it raised the benchmark even further up. The credit here can easily go to the Berlin-based sound artist Thom Kubli who came up with his new work called ‘FLOAT! Thinktank 21’. This one is aimed to allow all users a zero gravity experience. All you have to do is soak in salt water while listening to a new audio piece by Kubli for about five minutes.

But that’s not it. The process also includes a 40 minute period of soothing silence after the music rendition. The installation comes equipped with an egg-shaped flotation that has a custom underwater sound system to play the audio recordings. The model will be available to the public in Brooklyn at the Marian Spore Museum from July 30th onwards. Book a session in advance to enjoy this out of the world experience. Trust us, you won’t regret it!
