Erin Lareau has many bejeweled accolades up her sleeves. Continuing with her line of glittering art projects, the bling artist has unveiled the ten feet tall Swarowski studded Gibson Guitar. The guitar was donning the pedestal of the Guitar Town Sunset Strip public art exhibition which was showcasing the work of other 25 nationally acclaimed visual artists.
Erin Lareau believes that no dream or fantasy can be more alluring than glittering jewels and crystals. she has garnered fame for transforming everyday objects and clothing into glamorous souveniers. Her clientele includes famous people from music industry like Michael Jackson, Katy Perry, Spinal Tap and Orianthi which also explains her version of the iconic Les Paul guitar.
The artist further states that she has worked with crystal covered guitars before, but this ten foot masterpiece if one of its kind. Apart from jeweled guitars, her work includes microphones and mic stands, public art installations, and countless commissions for bejeweled paintings, conversation pieces, and unique works of art.
