The leader of Men’s fashion Christian Dior has now announced the new Fall/Winter collection 2011. The fashion house is known for the subtle colours and predominant usage of black in the designs. This time around too, most of the designs employ a funereal theme and come with blacks, reds and hats that look like an undertaker’s hat at a churchyard. Dior has now unveiled a cool new short film that features the brands collection for this winter.
Christian Dior’s winter collection for 2011 consists of a number of black and grey themed designs that strike you with their audaciously fashionable themes. If you want to take a look at the video, you sure could and once you do watch it, you would be left spellbound by the creative director Kris Van Assche’s originality and creativity. Along with the documentary, the company has also unveiled several images that were shot by Willy Vanderperre.
The images consist of a model who looks androgynous wearing the funereal clothes and standing on a desert highway with his head down/ it certainly suggests a lack of movement and a catatonic mood which could be due to the chill and freeze that winter is expected to bring. You could also take a look at the Dior Homme collections which we have featured several times. I say, if you are a man and wanted to wear something stylish, you should go for Dior. So go ahead, and enjoy your Dior shopping and make sure you wear these clothes during winter this year.
