Like every year CES gets busier by the minute especially when it is drawing closer to its end. This year is no exception but it only gets more interesting at this time. In the midst of this chaotic madness of the CES 2010, our eyes fell on the Wrap 920AR, the latest video eyewear from Vuzix. Its design is really cool and it resembles a pair of sunglasses almost literally. Its features are even a lot cooler than the design.
The Wrap 920AR enables the users to create an augmented reality by displaying video in 3D. This cool device comes with a 67-inch display, which can be seen from 10 feet away. It also comes with an integrated stereo camera pair that can deliver a single 1504×480 stereoscopic 3D image.
What is even more interesting is that the device also offers a 6-degree-of-freedom tracker for better accuracy and truer 3D positioning. The headset is connected via USB and it works with both Windows and Mac OS X Tiger. The device is expected to be released during this spring and will be available for about $800.
