In the world of high-end pillows we have spotted the alarm clock pillow and the floor mattress pillow. There have even been the occasional Bluetooth pillows. Yes, the designer pillow is not content blending into the bedspread anymore.
Taking high-end pillow designs up another notch are designers Todd von Bastiaans and Bryan McCarthy. They have come up with a pillow that pays homage to the ultimate breakfast – pancakes and butter! Breakfast has never been this cool.
The buttered pancake floor pillows by the designer duo are sure to add a whole new fun and quirky element to your bedroom décor. But really, I can see these floor pillows adoring the living room as well. That dull grey beanbag can finally be pushed away. The pancake pillows can brighten up any living space, become a conversation starter and encourage hours of lounging around.
Storing is easy. You can simply stack them up in a corner when not in use. Each pillow measures 36 inches in diameter and features 2-inch tempurpedic-type foam. But 4-inch versions are also available. Each pillow costs $600, but stacks of 2 or more are in for discounts of 10 percent. Being greedy for pancakes has its plusses.
