Busycle, The Name Says It All!

Boy oh boy! Never really though creativity would reach such levels. Don’t worry even you would be saying the same once you take a look at the 15-person bicycle-truck that we are talking about. Aptly called Busycle, this mammoth bike runs on the power generated by 28 human legs plus a driver.

Agreed that it might speed you up only by a 4 miles per hour, we are sure that the sense of comraderie might just take you to newer levels. Brainchild of two Boston-based artists Heather Clark and Matthew Mazotta, the Busycle was born thanks to a $1,000 grant from the Berwick Research Institute in Mass.

All you eco-lovers will be happy to know that this ride is made from all recycled, reused and donated items. So, with 65 diverse volunteers, the Busycle went on a story-telling spree that had each route ending with a torytelling session. The makers realise that their big invention is not very practical but they maintain it’s a great way to bring people together.
