The company showcased its flagship Android smartphone at the event and revealed the luxury handset’s production plans. The Ulysse Nardin Chairman, which has been doing circles of the luxury industry  for some time now is known to be a perfect amalgamation of elegant luxury, intricate craftsmanship and state of the art technology. The device has been developed in collaboration with Scientific Cellular Innovations, an England based company that specializes in the fusion of bespoke design with new technologies. At the horology trade show, Ulysse Nardin, presented one of these gorgeous smartphones to Chai Schnyder, the widow of the company’ former CEO Rolf Schnyder.
The all new Ulysse Nardin Chairman has been designed as a befitting tribute to the Chinese Year of the Dragon and has been hand crafted in marine grade stainless steel. This luxury Android smartphone employs a revolutionary new Ulysse Nardin Rotor kinetic power system which provides power for the device’s battery by harnessing kinetic energy from the movement of the owner. The Ulysse Nardin Chairman is a one of its kind smartphone that brings forth the functions of a smartphone as well as the workings of a complex luxury watch.  The designers of this magnificent device have made use of numerous exotic materials such as anodized aerospace grade aluminum alloy, 18 carat rose gold, 22 karat gold rotors, sapphire crystal, carbon fiber etc. to give the phone a truly unique persona. As per the announcement, the Ulysse Nardin Chairman will be restricted to a limited edition production model, with only 1,846 examples of the device to be produced, while expanding its sale’s portfolio to some 20 countries.
Apart from the eye-pleasing luxury, the Ulysse Nardin Chairman is also a very practical smartphone featuring a 3.2 inch capacitive touch screen that is equally complemented with a physical keypad. The Chairman is powered by Google Android 2.1 operation system and the device comes with 32GB of internal storage, while featuring intense social networking integration with services like Facebook. There is also present an 8MP camera that is capable of recording HD videos. On the security front, the Chairman comes with a fingerprint reader to keep your valuable data absolutely secure.
