There is some good news for lovers of luxury super yacht. The new yacht the house of Heesen had introduced in June is available for charter for the price of $160,000 a week. The yacht for charter is targeted to the Gulf region. Its color combination of tangerine, sky blue and white are the most frequently used colors within the gulf region. In fact some of the countries in the region use them as national symbols. The yacht has been named Aurelia and has been made by the designers who had earlier made the 65 meter FDHF luxury yacht.
The design of Aurelia is inspired by the racing vehicles from the Gulf region. Frank Lauman is responsible for its racy exterior look and Bannenberg & Rowell have designed its interiors. The yacht is a perfect vacationing vessel for smaller families. The yacht provides accommodation for 8 guests. There are separate quarters for the crew and the service staff. The master cabin for the owner is located on the upper deck and has its own sunbathing area. The lower deck features the common living area and the guest cabins.
The cockpit of the yacht is located in front. In order to acknowledge the inspiration from the racing cars the guest cabins have been named after racing car designers like Bertone, Pininfarina, and Zagato. Aurelia has 2 MTU 16V 4000 M90 diesel engines that can achieve a top speed of 30 knots. However the engines perform most efficiently at a cruising speed of 12 knots. The designers of the yacht have not tried to incorporate green or eco-friendly elements in the design but it is the best in its class.
