It is a dream come true for the golf enthusiasts. If you could not make the cut to the top level here is your chance to play at one of the most famous golf courses in the US with some of the world’s most respected golfers. The First Tee is behind this offer who are organizing the Homecare & Hospice First Tee Open at Pebble Beach.
The First Tee is a charity that helps youngsters from all backgrounds learn about golf and they are auctioning the opportunity for a fan and a guest to participate in the tournament and play alongside some big names from the Hall of Fame like Tom Watson, Tom Kite, Ben Crenshaw and Nick Price. The auction is being handled by charitybuzz and it ends on 19th of August. The package would be for a week and include accommodation at the Inn on Spanish Bay. The package is estimated at $25,000.
The high profile event would be chaired by Clint Eastwood and former president George Bush and Arnold Palmer are honorary co-chairs. It is a 54-hole tournament played by 78 Champions Tour players paired with 78 junior golfers and 156 amateurs. The tournament played on Pebble Beach Golf Links and Del Monte Golf Course will be broadcast live internationally on the Golf Channel.
