Attrap’Rêves Hotel in France Provides Furnished Bubbles in Multiple Locations

Instinctively we like to be close to nature. But we don’t want to compromise with the comforts and luxuries we have become so used to. All of us dream of being able to sleep under the stars but we don’t risk it normally. There have been room sized transparent bubbles made earlier that allow you to be out there in the open without compromising on any comfort and safety. Last year, designer Pierre Stephane Dumas unveiled his line of room-sized, transparent bubbles. His bubbles provide the user a portable space that can be furnished to any level of luxury and takes you right in the middle of a natural environment without disturbing the area in any significant way.

The concept is very appealing but the heavy price tag takes it out of the range of the bulk of customers. At $11,000 not many would buy it for a weekend camping trip. But there is good news for those who don’t want to invest in it. Recently, in France, the Attrap’Rêves hotel has opened and provides the see through sleeping experience in fully furnished bubbles. They have set up these bubbles in different scenic locales and you can select one depending on your convenience and choice. The sites in Allauch and Puget Ville are already operational and a third one is coming up soon at La Bouilladisse. These bubble hotels will come up in more locations and there are plans for a bubble tree as well as a bubble bar.

All these bubble sites are located within a short walking distance from the nearest village. One building in the village functions as the main building which provides meals, telescopes with star charts, an outdoor jacuzzi, and other amenities. The site of the bubble is chosen very carefully to not only make it safe but provide the best views in the area. For example, some of the bubbles in Allauch overlook the nearby harbor. All the bubbles are accessible only on foot ensuring least disturbance to the surrounding areas. The bubbles in the forested area are set up on a flat, rigid wooden floor and come with an outhouse.

These bubbles are not small and are, in fact as spacious as any regular hotel room. Shaped like a typical bubble, it has a diameter of 4 meters and a ceiling height of 3 meters. Each bubble is equipped with an airlock and a blower is installed that silently keeps the space inflated and in shape. It is also important because it keeps recycling the air inside the bubble. The interior and the furnishings inside the bubble are also comparable to any standard hotel room. Each of the bubble at the Attrap’Rêves hotel is furnished with a king-sized bed, nightstands, reading lamps, and a set of table and chairs. A lot of the furniture is custom built and designed to fit in the bubble. There are different styles of furniture in different bubbles. The other choice the guests have is to choose between bubbles that are fully or partially transparent depending on their need for privacy. Each bubble gets regular supply of electricity and has a sink/shower area with running water. The prices start at €109 and go up to €499 for a night depending on what location, season, and amenities you choose.
