Artistic Creations Exhibited at “Arts of the Islamic World Sale”

The auction house is in its full swing to present the innovative creation by Islamic artists from Middle Ages at “Arts of the Islamic World” sale schedule to happen on 24 October at Sotheby in London. Among the displayed creation is a Mughal gem-set jade hilted dagger and scabbard from India circa 1800. It is anticipated to fetch $30,000- $40,000.

Also present at the exhibition would be a 12th century bronze lion-form incense burner from Khurasan that is estimated for $120,000-$160,000.

The exhibition would continue till 28 October. Other items flaunting at the exhibition would be a fine group of Koran cloths, ‘Oo Bakhshandeh Ast’ painting by Mohammad Ehsai, Oxford desk dictionary by Khalil Rabah and others.
