Designers certainly have designs on the ubiquitous Blackberry. In December 2010, British designer Bill Amberg had designed a special limited edition Blackberry, the Blackberry Bold 9780 priced at £1000. This year round there is a treat in store for Blackberry fanatics who love a little ostentation. Designer Alaxander Amosu has designed a new Blackberry that is high on the bling factor.
Amosu is known for creations that overdose on bling and his latest masterpiece is no different. Amosu’s Solid Gold Blackberry Torch is as bling bling as it gets. The mid-frame of this mobile device is built out of about 38 grams of 18-karat solid gold. Metallic gold colour covers the remaining area.
Amosu’s Solid Gold Blackberry Torch, may however turn out to be more popular among the ladies. The phone will be available in three colours – yellow, rose and pink gold. An additional attraction for potential buyers is the option of adding diamonds of any colour to this already ostentatious device. In addition to the phone, buyers will get a matching Amosu case in either crocodile or python gold. Interested parties can even personalise this glittering handset and case with their name or company logo.
The price tag on this baby is £8,000 (about $12,725). However, there is more to this bling bling gadget than just its looks. Users will have access to an international concierge service. Also, there is a golden number up for grabs. Buyers will be able to choose from a series of unique mobile numbers. This is certainly the top buy for people with the Midas touch.
