The U.S. Air Force can’t help smiling thanks to the two beauties at their doorstep. Before you let you imagination go wild, let us tell you that Galpin Auto Sports has prepared two customized cars for the Air Force’s 2009 Super Car Tour. The first one is a matte-pearl white Ford Mustang X-1 with interiors to die for. Inspired by the cockpit of a fighter jet, the seats even feature an eject option. By the by, there are pedals too that are placed on either side of the center console and a flight stick instead of a steering wheel.
Three advanced instrumentation panels give the finishing touches with the monitors showing night and thermal vision. The doors are vertical and three-valve Ford Racing heads inside the 4.6 liter engine to bring the output to 500 hp. A jet-like feel is assured.
The other one is a black Dodge Challenger Vapor. A true military vehicle to the core, this one comes with a stealth exhaust to allow the car to run in silence. The thermal like vision comes from a Ford Mustang X-1. This hi-tech machine is remote controlled and is modeled after the Air Force’s Unmanned Aerial Vehicles.
