The Dream Symphony is going to be a masterpiece, thanks to the Naval Architecture expertise of Dykstra & Partners and the design and styling by Ken Freivokh. These two companies were signed up by Dream Ship Victory on September 23rd. The Dream Symphony will be 141 metres long and with that will earn the distinction of being the largest sailing yacht till date. But that is not the only special thing about this yacht. It will also be made entirely out of wood.
This team has worked on other yachts as well, and have come out with some great ones. Hence their expertise will definitely show this time around as well. Another yacht called Mikhail Vorontsov is 65 metres long and is now being fitted in Holland. They have two other yachts called Princess Maria and Imagination, measuring 55metres and 42 metres in length, and are also under construction.
The design for the Dream Symphony was showcased at this years Monaco Yacht Show at the Dykstra & Partners stand and generated a lot of interest. The design will start getting its tangible form when construction starts in 2011. It will be great to see another great yacht sailing the seas.
