It has to be very rich family and probably maybe even a celebrity family evading eyeballs, who else would keep such a record rent deal under wraps? Billionaires wanting to flaunt their wealth would have made deal a media event. The news of Bridgehampton Sandcastle fetching $35,000 rent a day and that too by a family whose name is being withheld has made every one curious. It is good news for luxury real estate and property dealers for it shows that rental and property prices are bouncing back and rich families are willing to splurge on renting a luxury vacation pad for themselves and their children.
The much famed Bridgehampton Sandcastle is owned by builder Joe Farrell and it is a magnificient spacious almost 31,000 square foot mansion with nine bedrooms and houses a tennis court, disco, two lane bowling alley and rock climbing wall and a movie theatre. It was put up for rent by Corcoran Group and they are strictly not revealing the name of renter.
Apparently the family has rented the house for two weeks of July and the total amount works out to be whopping $500,000 which is a record rental for Hampton market. The news of highs after all lows indeed brightens up the minds. One will have to wait till July to see who finally moves in for two weeks vacation at the Bridgehampton’s Sandcastle.
