There is something really annoying about having to get up and check the time every time you are sleeping, lest you got late. It not only is physically troublesome but you would also be afraid that if you didn’t check the time, you would end up getting screwed at your appointments. Realising this problem Florian Schärfer has designed the Melted Clock which lets you grope around the bed in your sleepy state and get the time.
All you would need to do is, find the haptic, touch sensitive alarm clock which comes integrated with speakers and the controls would be integrated in your sheets. The clock would be embedded into your bed and thus you would just need to move your hands here and there to find it and like you are reading Braille, you would just get to know what the time is.
There is no information yet about the price and availability as it is still a concept. However, it would be amazing if some bedding company realizes this need and demand in the market and launches something cool as this. Moreover, your bed would look cool and chic and it would turn your bedroom into a post modern living space.
