$25,000 Ultimate Ski Pass with VIP Privileges at Aspen to Benefit the Community

When you think of skiing you think of the Swiss slopes but Aspen has come up as a preferred skiing destination with the most expensive ski chalet. The Aspen Skiing Corporation has hosted various competitive events including the Winternational World Cup. For this exciting tournament this season a limited edition exclusive passes have been made available by the Aspen Skiing Corporation. Dubbed the Ultimate Ski Pass, it offers multiple benefits to the holders during the period of the tournament. Costing $25,000 the pass entitles the holder to a meeting with the U.S. Women’s Ski team who might be using aviator skis this season.

Only 18 passes will be issued this season out of which two have already been sold. The pass gives the member free access to the food and booze hospitality tent during Aspen Winternational World Cup. It enables them to take a behind the scene tour of the skiing slopes before they are open to the public. The member would be entitled to a private tour of the four ski areas of Aspen-Snowmass including the indoor ski resort with a member of Skico’s management team. The pass offers various dining options in and around the venue including an exclusive breakfast with the President of the U.S. Ski & Snowboard Association, Mr. Bill Merolt.

 

The high priced passes have been created for a philanthropic purpose. Matt Hamilton, Skico director of sustainability explained that the aim is to raise funds for the Aspen Community Fund and a foundation connected to the Crown family, owners of Skico. Apart from VIP privileges the pass offers unlimited transferable skiing, a tax deduction. The funds raised through the Ultimate Pass will not only benefit the community but help the resort keep the World Cup racing tradition alive.
