Elisabetta Gucci Hotels to Launch Their First Hotel In Dubai

GrandDaughter of late fashion mogul Paolo Gucci, Elisabetta Gucci is finding it difficult to use her name for the hotel chain she intends to launch with the first property coming up in the Media World district of Dubai. Her father is best known, among other things, by the design of the Italian Brands stirrup. There is no doubt that his contribution was significant in bringing up Gucci to the position it occupies in the fashion world.

Elisabetta Gucci has branded her chain of hotels as “EG Hotels”. Lorens Ziller, the managing director of the company and Gucci’s partner in Baitek International Investment which is owned by  the Saudi Arabian investor Abdulla Al Savegh, said that their hotels will showcase the furniture designed by Elisabetta which will be built by Formitalia. The Dubai property will have 87 suits and is scheduled for an year end opening. The Dubai hotel will be the first of the 40 which are planned to be opened across the world over a period of 15 years.

The website of Elisabetta Gucci displays  her statement explaining that she has no relationship with the famous fashion house that carries her name. Gucci on their part, have declared that they have nothing to do with Elisabetta Gucci Hotels and that they are in no way related to any of their projects. The company also said in their email that they will take all necessary steps to protect their rights.
