A Chrysler Gets Signed At The Golden Globes For Haiti’s Benefit

When your heart pains each time the pitiable sights of the disaster struck Haiti are shown on the News Channel, be comforted to know that you are not alone. People all over the world have come forth in their own little ways to help their fellow earth-citizens in their time of need. Perhaps, this is the only silver lining in this devastating event.

Last Sunday’s Golden Globe event was no exception as our favorite actors and actresses went out of their way to sign on a top-of-the-line 300 C luxury sedan from brand Chrysler that showed up on the red carpet. There were a total of 300 celebrities who signed it. Some names included in that group are Samuel L. Jackson, Sandra Bullock, Morgan Freeman, Sigourney Weaver and Neil Patrick Harris.

Chrysler, on its part, had equipped the car with several eco touches like the cork and bamboo interior. In fact, the car was personally donated by the car brand’s CEO Olivier Francois. We hear that the vehicle will soon be auction at a high profile event to raise fund for the American Red Cross in its relief efforts in the earthquake-hit Haiti.
