Mansory Gives Carbon Fiber Treatment to Aventado to Make it Carbonado

Mansory, the Germany based luxury car modification specialists have come up with some very creative modifications in the past including carbon fiber Aston Martin DBS, the blue baby Rolls Royce in golden robe, the LINEA Vincerò, the one-off Bugatti Veyron Linea Vincero d’Oro, and the Porsche Cayenne Turbo. Their preference for carbon fiber is evident particularly in their latest work Lamborghini Aventador LP700-4 which they had first displayed at the Geneva Motor Show earlier this year. This modified design of Lamborghini will be limited to a production run of only six units. Mansory has named their model Carbonado.

The Modified Car Has a Totally New Appearance

The standard model of Lamborghini Aventador LP700-4 already has a lot of carbon fiber but Mansory has used more of it for all its bodywork elements. Kourosh Mansory explained that they employ the exclusive prepeg autoclave method to achieve the ultra-perfect surface finish for each individual element which is then built seamlessly into the car. The result is a transformed aerodynamic version of Aventador LP700-4. The front body of the Carbonado has turned out very attractive with the air inlets very prominently visible. The modified car has taken on a completely new appearance as the front wings, as well as the bonnet, are removed and replaced with proprietary versions.

The Engine and Exhaust System Has Been Optimized

Mansory has made some modifications to the engine management system and the exhaust system of the car to optimize it and improve both acceleration and engine power. It has a 6.5 liter V12 engine which is capable of accelerating to 100 km/h in just 2.8 seconds. The engine now produces754 horsepower and 553 pound-feet torque and achieves a top speed of 355 km/h. The customization program of the car is not limited to the body and the engine but extends to the interiors as well. Some of the most luxurious materials have been used to great effect and even carbon fiber trim have been added in the interiors to match it with the exterior of the car. Non slip aluminum pedals have been also added to go along with the sporty character of the interior. The wheels of the car have also been changed and yes, they now feature carbon fiber inlays.
