Collaboration of Mercedes-Benz Style and Lufthansa Technik to launch VIP aircraft cabin

Mercedes-Benz Style has collaborated with with German airline Lufthansa Technikto create a VIP aircraft cabin. The two companies will work together to develop an innovative and luxurious cabin concept for short and medium haul aircraft.

The aircraft combines the walls, ceiling, and the floor into one smooth, continuous surface, with furniture like chairs, sofa, beds, and tables that fits in with the design and colour. A fish tank has been set up with auto dimming touch screen glass panels in front of the window that that can control the infotainment system.

The aircraft cabin has been showcased by Mercedes-Benz Style and Lufthansa Technik at the European Business Aviation Convention and Exhibit (EBACE) in Geneva.

The spectacular architecture of the interior shows creativity and modernity. Sensual surfaces and clear forms, combined with intelligent high-tech features and perfectly shaped modern luxury are the characteristic features of Mercedes-Benz design” says Gorden Wagener, Vice President Design Daimler AG.
