Aman Announces A New Lifestyle Brand: Janu

Aman has announced that it will be launching a new luxury brand, Janu. The new lifestyle brand offers the same exceptional design that can be seen in each property of luxury hotels. Following two years of extensive research and development, the Aman hotel is set to debut a new brand that will be geared towards another direction in hospitality.

Janu offers guests a place where they can connect, energize and find greater purpose with their experience. The less secluded hotel destination gives the guests livelier travel experience, with the same form of commitment from its legendary sister, Aman. With the new hotel founded on the belief of balance, guests will never have to choose between pleasure and personal fulfillment. And it is something to look forward to in the luxury hotels industry in 2022.

Much like Aman, each Janu property will be contemporary. There will be social spaces such as bar, dining, and lounger areas. When it comes to culinary, guests can see the chefs concoct mouthwatering dishes prepared in the open kitchen. The dishes are bound to satisfy the taste and eyes since its culinary concepts focused on low-temperature cooking and employing the beauty of fermentation. The bars and restaurants will be designed with communal tables. There will be countertop displays, lively entertainment programs that feature local DJs and bands, including showcasing local arts and scenes. These programs will encourage guests to look around, socialize and be energized.

As for the guest’s physical and emotional wellness, the hotel offers wellness facilities with cutting edges treatments and experiences, including the latest equipment and extensive thermal and hydro facilities. The Wellness concept at Janu differs from Aman since they are designed in a way that encourages guests to mingle. These activities will not be limited to yoga and spas, but “edgier” group classes like Pilates and contemporary martial arts.  There will be group activities also offered that are outside the health and fitness, such as masterclasses in cooking.

About accommodation, Janu offers larger room counts that are a bit lower in price, though still considered as premium. These rooms by comparison with Aman’s largest hotel, with 84 rooms and 680 square feet rooms, will be smaller but not lacking in luxuriousness that its sister hotels offer guests.

There are currently 32 hotels in 20 countries, with nine still under construction under the Aman brand.

Janu will unveil three luxury properties in 2022, one in Al Ula in Saudi Arabi, Montenegro, and Tokyo, Japan.
