The skyscraper project is the brainchild of Architect David Fisher of Dynamic Architecture. Fisher conceived the idea in 2008 but put it on hold, and now becoming a reality. It is scheduled for completion in 2020. The hotel will offer exclusivity, luxuriousness and cutting edge technology. Guests of the hotel, whether they are for leisure or business will experience exceptional service from one of the leading hospitality companies in the world.

Each one of the apartments have floor to ceiling windows that they could take advantage to view the city. Best of all, the residents will be able to select their own view, follow the direction of the sun, adjust speed or stop rotation via voice command. The apartments are programmed to move in the direction that the residents wants with the help of voice-activated controls. The building will also have swimming pools; fitness center, a garden space and a car lift that transport vehicle outside individual residences.
That’s not all! This impressive skyscraper project also offers sustainability for the entire building will be powered by wind and sun energy. The self-powered skyscraper will have as many as 48 individual, well-hidden wind turbines to be built in between floors, as well as, solar panels on the roof. So, this building doesn’t have just a unique twisting feature, but also the capacity to generate 10 times the energy the building needed.
The cost of an individual apartment unit starts at US$4 million to US$40 million. Dubai is home to hundreds of tall buildings, including the world’s tallest building, the Burj khalifa. The world’s largest shopping mall, the largest man-made island and now it is soon to be the home of the first rotating skyscraper.
