Raymond Weil ‘Maestro’
Mr Raymond Weil, the man behind the Swiss watchmaking company named after him, unfortunately passed away at the end of January of this year. His watches will continue to be the epitome of traditional watches and his Maestro collection reflects this. This Maestro Automatic watch is simple with a white guilloche dial, Roman numerals, a date window at 3 o’clock and it also has a black leather alligator strap which adds to its sophistication.
Jaquet Droz ‘Legend Geneva’
Jaquet Droz have been around since 1721 and so the brand itself carries a great deal of tradition. The ‘Legend Geneva’ collection portrays elements of the wonderfully cultured city of Geneva- the poetry, horology and history. This version has an 18-carat rose gold case and a unique ivory enamelled dial and looks like it was made many years ago rather than in recent years.
Jaeger-LeCoultre ‘Duometre’
Jaeger-LeCoultre has a heritage since 1559 of technical skills, creativity and invention. The classically designed sub-dials and the main dial show moon phase, date, hours, minutes and seconds and has a diameter of 40.5mm for an ideal fit to wear with a suit. Again, the strap is alligator-patterned in dark brown which, alongside the rose gold casing, gives it a certain elegance.
