Imagine you are walking on the pavement and suddenly you see a truck that is carrying all the goodies that you ever wanted. I am not talking about handsome men in g strings, but I am talking about luxury brands like Hermes and Louis Vuitton that are sold in trucks, just like cadies and books are sometime sold by travelling trucks! Well, now Singaporeans who have the money could shop in this innovative and fun manner, and it was announced just sometime back. The Reebonz Mobil is a stylish truck that costs S$120,000. It measures 40 feet and would double up as a luxury boutique.
It would be a members only shopping online site, but the truck will offer a cooler experience to people. It will make several stops at places like Raffles Place, City Hall, Orchard Road, Bugis, Dhoby Ghaut, Harbour Front, Marina Bay, Novena and Tanjong Pagar. This is the first of its kind n Asia Pacific and would be a great way to make sure people would be able to buy fashion and luxury in a manner that is not usually the norm.
I would say, just go ahead and try to experience this kind of shopping in Singapore, and who knows you might end up buying a luxury good that you may not find in a showroom. You could choose between branded items like bags, wallets and belts and you would also get special discounts ranging from 15 to 50 percent. You could also read the cool article that we had written about luxury fashion brand Versace making a comeback in Japan.
