The digital cards have left the traditional greeting cards way behind. But the expectation level from the digital card creators is very high. The evolving technologies offer immense opportunities and the potential is enormous. The new card that is being talked about this season is the interactive card for the festive season designed by Burberry. The interactive card features a Burberry Acoustic performance by Johnny Borrell of UK band Razorlight.
The interactive digital card can be viewed on the iPhone, iPad, email, Facebook and Twitter, and incorporates a personalized holiday greeting from the sender. Burberry is committed to promoting British artists and talent. This card is also part of that initiative. The Burberry Acoustic was launched in June 2010. They have been collaborating actively with other British artists with the purpose of supporting and promoting talent in Britain.
Burberry has also made a donation, this festive season, to the Burberry Foundation. It is their registered charity which was set up in 2008. The Burberry foundation was set up with the purpose of helping young people realize their creative potential. Many young talents have benefited from their support. Borrell waived his fees for this project and donated it to the Burberry Foundation.
