The Motorola Aura has been on the top of the news for a whole bagful of reasons. We heard about the grand presentation by none other than David Beckham and then there was Amosu waving it’s bling-y wand on the mobile to create some cheezy but luxe versions for the same. And this time, it is the Diamond Edition of the phone that is making heads turn. Designed with the sole motivation to outshine every other phone in the league, this one is a sight to behold with its 18 carat goldplating.
Not just that, some 34 sparkling diamons line the circular display of the phone (something like what Amosu did but we prefer the new pattern a wee bit more). The mobile phone is a real show stopper.
Even the technological strappings are very sound. The Motorola Aura Diamond Edition has a quad-band GSM/EDGE connectivity along with other features like CrystalTalk technology, stereo Bluetooth, music and video playback support. There is a 2 megapixel camera that can go ballistic with the 2GB of internal memory. There is no 3G connectivity. The price tag reads $5,700.
