To be quite frank, the Söller bed can’t really fall into the category of a high-tech luxury bed. This one is more like one of those nature-inspired luxury sleep systems due to its neat canopied design. The brainchild of Christian Poppel, the bed is out in the market under the brand name Fibriner. In fact, it was even showcased at the IMM Cologne 2009.
A unique structure, this partially canopied bed has storage space that features a headboard which is really a wardrobe of shelves. Even the bed cabinet can be dismantled to give you high corners of privacy when you sleep, of course with dollops of comfort.
The white exterior of the Söller bed has been done up in fiberglass and polyester resin. Although, we do miss fixtures like an iPod dock to go along with soothing LED lighting in the bed (boy, our wishful thinking doesn’t get satiated too easily), nevertheless, we do maintain that the Söller is very impressive. We think it will come with a price tag of more than a thousand dollars.
