Addison restaurant at the Grand Del Mar hotel in San Diego is the venue for an exclusive dinner. The dinner is scheduled to be held tomorrow on the 17th of November. It has been organized as a fund raiser for the Bocuse d’Or USA Foundation. The foundation will use the funds thus raised to sponsor aspiring chefs and grant them internships and scholarships. The dinner has been organized for seventy five people. The menu for the evening has been prepared with great care. The event will start with Champagne to set the tone for a grand evening. Small bites will accompany the champagne. The bites will include skewers of squid and chorizo andgougères (savory pastries) stuffed with smoked bacon and sherry. The guests will be served a six course meal starting with Maine crab with tangerine, fennel, and vanilla and then move on to glazed chicken thighs served with red-wine risotto, aged parmesan cheese, and white truffles; licorice-roasted endive with apples; and more.

The guests on the table will get special wine pairings with the meal and a gift that they can take home.
