Jumeirah At Etihad Towers: Abu Dhabi’s New Luxury Destination

Luxury hospitality group Jumeirah Hotels, Resorts and Residences is expanding quickly in the Middle East. Its most recent offering is a luxury hotel in the famous Etihad Towers. The hotel will be the first Jumeirah hotel in Abu Dhabi. His Highness Sheikh Suroor bin Mohammed Al Nahyan’s Projects Department was instrumental in the development of this new luxury hotel.

In recent times, Jumeirah has launched one Dubai luxury hotel after the other, namely the Palm Jumeirah, Zabeel Saray and Burj Al Arab. The Burj Khalifa may well be the symbol of prosperity for Dubai, but the city is not alone in the prosperity stakes. It is now Abu Dhabi’s turn to enjoy its moment in the limelight as the Jumeirah at Etihad Towers readies for its launch next month.

The Etihad Jumeirah occupies one of five Etihad Towers and soars to a height of 280 meters. The hotel will house 382 guest rooms and suites, alongside 199 serviced residences. The new Jumeirah will also offer facilities for leisure activities as well as venues for social and business events.

The Suite Life

If you are looking for a room with a view, expect to be spoilt for choice. Given Etihad Towers’ beachfront location, every guest room offers views of the sea. Equipped with all the necessary modern facilities, the guest rooms occupy between 40 and 60 square meters of floor space. However, superrich guests planning to live it up in style should take the elevator to Level 60, where the Royal Etihad Suite is located. This 980-square-meter (10,550 square feet) luxury suite offers four bedrooms along with a sitting area, a dining space and butler facilities. The suite is adorned by exclusive artworks and houses a bespoke grand piano.

Luxury travelers would also adore the Sky Suite, which sits a floor below on Level 59. This beautiful suite provides a massive bedroom as well as an attached sunlit bathroom with a free standing bathtub and a walk-in raindrop ceiling shower. The suite also houses a private dining table that can accommodate ten people.

Finally, there are the 199 fully serviced sea-facing residences located between Levels 2 and 25. These are available in one-bedroom, two-bedroom and three-bedroom models.

Luxury Living

The contemporary interiors are garnished with touches of Middle Eastern culture. You will find artworks belonging to His Highness Sheikh Suroor bin Mohammed Al Nahyan displayed in the public areas of the luxury hotel.

The Club Executive Lounge on Level 45 is just the thing for business travelers. The lounge provides adequate workspace catering to the needs of the guests themselves. It offers shower suites, changing rooms, an Internet lounge, a business center and all the necessary amenities, and is open 24/7. The Club Executive Lounge provides a fantastic breakfast spread. But all through the day, guests can enjoy a range of snacks, including deserts for the sweet toothed. Beverages come free during the day and evening. The Conference Center on Podium Level 4 is one of the largest in Abu Dhabi. It offers 13 individual meeting rooms and the spacious Mezzoon ballroom.

But it should not be all about work. The Talise Spa on Podium Level 3M houses 13 treatment suites and offers a range of different treatments. Pools, gardens and a private beach provide even more space for relaxation.
