John Lobb Sandals Representing the Essence of Dubai Costs $7,350

John Lobb has a long history of creating shoes for men. They have been doing it with distinction since 1866. This time they have outdone themselves with their series of collections called the “Spirits of Capitals” For this collection their team of designers had travelled to various capital cities around the world including Hong Kong, New York, Seoul, Moscow, Beijing, Geneva and Dubai. Their task was to catch the essence of the city and come up with a design that best represents the city.

Designs representing London, Paris and Taipei have already been released and now they are ready with a design for a pair of sandals that represents the true essence of Dubai. It has now become part of their Spirits of Capitals collection. This new creation has been inspired by their classic John Lobb William monk shoe. The best and the finest lambskin has been used for the insole to provide the feel of ultimate luxury. There are two adjusting straps to ensure complete comfort to the wearer’s foot.

The latest addition to the Spirits of Capitals collection will be rolled out by John Lobb in the Dubai Mall. The sandals will be on display from November 2 to 12. It is the first time that John Lobb is going to the Middle East market. The sandals are made of crocodile skin and hand stitched like all the shoes John Lobb makes. The aim of this inspired collection is to take shoemaking to another level. These sandals will be made against order only. The company will first take perfect measurements of your foot and then proceed to create the perfect pair for you. The whole process might take up to eight months. And finally the cost of the sandal is rather high at $7,350 for a pair. It could qualify as the most expensive shoes.
