Bonham’s to Auction Off Sartin Asian Art Collection

There is something about art that makes us want to spend more and more money. That is perhaps why art rates as the highest luxury statement in the world and even a gold studded car would be shame to its place in front of a luxury art piece worth its salt. Bonham’s is participating in a cross cultural Asian Art week that would be held in New York this September. Bonham’s will use the opportunity to auction off Sartin Asian Art Collection which would include works curated by Peter Sartin.

The works include rare art pieces which were sported by Pacific Asia Museum and would include Tibetan and Nepali art. Tosei Gusoku armours would also be featured and this is expected to fetch almost $70,000. It is historically attributed to kudaira Nobumasa, a famous Daimyo. If you are into art and were wondering what Asian art is like, you would need to go ahead and get these art pieces right in the midst of New York art scene.

You will end up spending a bomb but it is worth every penny that you might have to spend. I would say, go ahead and get to the auction and see if it interests you. Otherwise, you can always purchase European art. You can also take a look at the amazing vandervilt art collection that we had featured sometime back. Also take a look at the Christie’s autumn art auction and Bonham’s jewellery and jadeite auction that we had covered many days ago. I am sure all these would help you stay in sync with the world!
