Roman Abramovich Buys a Block of Flats in Knightsbridge, London for £150million

Roman Abramovich, the Russian oligarch, is the 15th richest man in the world with his £14billion fortune. But he definitely knows how to live like the richest man in the world. He has dozens of houses around the world but he was still looking for something special, something unusual. He has purchased all nine flats of a prime London block with Harvey Nichols and Harrods as their corner shops.

The property is located in Knightsbridge in London and it is actually spreads across two stucco-fronted properties. Looking at the size and the location of the property, the experts estimate the property to be worth up to £150million. Abramovich lives with his girlfriend Dasha Zhukova and their one year old son Aaron. They would have more space in the mansion than they would ever require.

The is five storey tall but has three basement levels as well. The palatial house boasts of a cinema/entertainment room, an indoor pool, steam room and sauna, as well as a children’s study and entertainment room. Abramovich wants a very plush interior in the style of high neoclassical Victoriana to match the exterior. He wants it to be an opulent expression of his personal style. He is looking after the project personally and you can be sure there would be nothing minimalist about the new Abramovich residence.
