The milestone features of the catalog include a Tequila Avion private party by Colin Cowie, Dale Chihuly pool installation, gourd ukulele handmade by Danny Ferrington, edible gingerbread house, limited edition Leica M9 camera and the 2011 Neiman Marcus Edition Camaro Convertible. The featured signature car of this issue is the 2011 Neiman Marcus Edition Camaro Convertible.
The Christmas book debuted in the year 1926 and it served as loyalty Christmas card to the store’s best customers. The catalog also celebrates 50th anniversary of the store’s legendary His and Hers fantasy gifts. These gifts had first hit the retail shelves 1960 with matching Beechcraft airplanes that cost $176,000. The gift lineup is created by one of the innovative heads of the brand, Stanley Marcus. The MetroShip Houseboat worth $250,000 has donned the position of this year’s His and Hers gift.
Neiman Marcus have made their prestigious catalog iPadavailable for viewing on iPad via the NM Editions App. The application would allow the customers to make direct orders when in or around Wi-Fi hotspots.
