All those biker boys who lust after the latest most amazing bikes, lo and behold! I present to you, the world’s most expensive and powerful motorcycle. The name is Icon Sheene, and the price is €130,000. This super bike will be showcased at the Goodwood Festival of Speed in UK, Between July2 to July4. You surely don’t wanna miss this. This quite obviously will be a limited edition model (I can’t imagine people rushing to buy a €130,000 bike).
This mean machine has been designed as a homage to the one and only Barry Sheene, who was the Grand Prix motorcycle world champion. The connection with Goodwood is that in his later years, he started racing historic bikes here. Engineers took five years to make this model, and all the hardwork has resulted in a 250 hp, turbocharged 1400cc, 200mph top speed, masterpiece. The bespoke bikes are hand built and the 52 number is symbolic of the racer’s years in this world, and also the number of cards in a deck.
Each bike will be hand painted by Mike Fairholme with a different card. The purchasers will be able to have these bikes modified according to their whims and fancies. Andrew Morris, the Icon founder believes that Sheene would have approved of the level of bikes they are making. I am sure as well.
