Luxury fashion house Armani has decided to team up with sports label Reebok for some adventure with running shoes. The new collection that they have come up with will be laucned during the men’s fashion shows in Milan. This one is dubbed the EA7 collection and it consists of sports styles under the category ‘The Runner’ and some sophisticated styles under ‘Mega Chic’. These footwear come at a time when fellow Italian designer Salvatore Ferragamo launched some sneakers with Yohji Yamamoto. Even Kanye West’s successful association with Louis Vuitton and Nike sneakers could have led Armani to join the bandwagon.
So we do know one thing that fashion has been combined with shoes several times before. Then what’s new and special with what Armani and Reebok are here to offer us? Well, their collection has been translated as the most sports-centric among them all. We think that the design got a lot of experience from the fact that Armani co-owns the Olimpia Milano basketball team.
Apparently, Armani wanted its customers to enjoy a sporty fashion which was both stylish and comfortable. It will be July by the time EA7 hits the international Reebok and Armani stores.
