$1.5 Million Renovation Underway At The Claremont Aiming At Business Travelers

The luxury travel business is one of the most lucrative in the hospitality industry worldwide and in lieu of the rising demand for more and more facilities aimed at business people, the Claremont hotel in Douglas is currently undergoing a $1.5 million renovation project, as part of the hotel’s motive of attracting business travelers and provide these high class executives with a “unique and new guest experience.”

The hotel management is sparing no expense in creating one of the best living conditions for their esteemed guests, with the hotel’s focus being on even the minutest of details. The renovated and refurbished of the Claremont hotel are based entirely on a modern European Bauhaus design, along with hypoallergenic finishes, with which the hotel management hopes to make these rooms as comfortable as possible. Each of the rooms will be provided with a king size bed and Tempur pressure relieving mattresses, that would be adorned with luxury fabrics.

The bathrooms of the hotel rooms will be comprised of complimentary Aveda luxury toiletries and these luxury bathrooms will also a feature a television in the shower areas, for the honeymoon suites.  Furthermore, all these luxury rooms will come with their individual free wireless broadband connectivity and will pack a complete array of entertainment devices, including iPod docking stations and 32” flat screen televisions with BluRay DVD players.

According to Kim Chambers (General Manager, The Claremont),

“Our aim with this project is to provide an environment that is both contemporary and revolutionary to the Island.  The designs for the new rooms are amazing, and will provide the modern business traveller with everything they could conceivably want during their stay, from luxurious comfort to state of the art communications and entertainment.”
