For Van Cleef & Arpels, it important to stay on track right from the beginning. And to keep their work record intact, they have introduced a whole lot of 2010 watches. From what we hear, each one of them is more artistic than the last one. Nature has not been used with the horological with so much beauty before. The new limited edition pieces stand out due to their complexity in dial creations. In fact, one series is the limited edition of 8 pieces per each for all the 5 watches of Ladies Extraordinary Butterfly watch series.
The collection has dials representing the shape of some gorgeous butterflies. The technique looks very similar to the one that is used on stained glass. A very cool idea, indeed! Plus the enamling adds its own magic.
The women watches are 38 mm wide done up in 18 carat white gold cases with diamond studs along the bezels and lugs. However, diamonds on the strap buckle have been given a miss. The insides have Caliber 830P automatic mechanical movements. The names of the watches are Parvana, Vanessa, Euthalie, Kimama and Caligo.
