Lenovo Group Limited it seems is on a roll and out all guns blazing at the Consumer Electronics Show 2010 as the company is in full drive introducing a host of elegant and high performance desktops and notebooks. Just two days after Lenovo announced the new IdeaPad and ThinkPad series, it has now introduced another IdeaPad, that is combination of a laptop and a tablet, literally!
The all new Lenovo IdeaPad H1 Hybrid is highly innovative machine that, is a laptop but can be converted into tablet device, by undocking the display screen from its slot. This two-in-one revolutionary idea provides Lenovo users with the added benefit of a device with two processors and the enhanced functions of a notebook and a tablet.
In the tablet mode, the IdeaPad H1 Hybrid sports a 1GHz Snapdragon ARM CPU, that supports the Skylight Linux operating system with 512 RAM and a cool 16GB flash drive. This is quite an impressive configuration, considering the muti-roles of the machine with which users can surf the web and use the tablet for more simplified tasks.
The IdeaPad U1 Hybrid in the laptop mode is equally impressive, powered by Intel Core 2 Duo SU 4100 processor and complimented by 128GB SSD, with Microsoft Windows 7 operating system. The H1 Hybrid sports a 11.6 inch touchscreen that works equally good for both the laptop and the tablet. The IdeaPad U1 Hybrid is currently on display at the Lenovo booth at CES 2010 and will be when launched, the machine will be available for $999.
