The rumours of a Leica M7 Hermes edition had been around for some time and it turns out that they are all true. Leica UK has announced the release of the Leica M7 Hermes Edition and the images of the camera that have been doing the round are of the real thing as well.
It had earlier been reported that only 100 units of the uber luxe limited edition camera would be made but the latest reports and the official statement by Leica comes with the good news that 200 units of the camera would be made available. Designed after the Leica M7 model, the Leica M7 Hermes limited edition will include certain features not included in the previous model. This luxury model features metal finish back finished with silver chrome and have AUTO and flash settings matching the camera’s leather. Two colour models are available, one in green and the other in a vivid psychedelic orange.
The Leica MP Edition Hermes that was launched a few years ago had created a great much enthusiasm a few years ago and this second tie up between Hermes and Leica will certainly not disappoint avid fans of photography.
