While it is no big news that Michael Jackson’s memorial service is going to host a number of stars at the Dodgers Stadium in Los Angeles, some touts have already begun to sell tickets for exorbitant prices. Some of them are even quoting prices of about $100,000.

Artists like Justin Timberlake, Aretha Franklin and Lionel Richie are expected to attend and Britain’s Got Talent finalist Shaheen Jafargholi would be performing too. With such a star studded event it is no surprise that people are clamouring to obtain those few tickets available for sale.

However, I would like to question the craze that people have for the memorial service and the way they are being taken for a ride by the touts who have begun to charge $100,000 and above for a ticket. About 1.6 million people had registered for the tickets and only 8,750 could be given away.

The ones that are being sold for that horrendous money are from these few thousand tickets. It would be interesting to see the outcome of the event and how LA would be clogged for hours. When Michael Jackson was alive nobody preferred to remember him but when he left a void behind him, he is back in demand again!
