Jane August Handstitched King’s Road Satchel Gets A Thumbs Up From JLo
The Jane August Handstitched King’s Road Satchel has earned itself quite a famous clientele that includes the likes of JLo and Judith Light. Apparently, the designer came across the original bag in canvas just by chance in a regular bag store in London. She bought the bag because of its strong structure and cool look, only to pass it on to her mother who just fell in love with the comfortable pattern. This gave an idea to Jane, and she later sent the bag to Italy to be made in linen which soon evolved into leather.
And the evolution has gone on. Now the color options in leather include gold, silver python and, of course, classic black. And if Jane’s word is anything to go by, many famous designers are already knocking off the same design. So, it is on Jane to continuously and consistently improvise on the original design.
Being lightweight, the satchel bag promises not to send you in physical therapy. There is organized and clutter free space for everything you need on a daily basis. Plus the bag is light too. You also don’t need a zipper at the top because there is absolutely no way that anyone can get into it.
