Not a day goes by when it isn’t an occasion to gift someone you know for some special reason such as a birthday or anniversary. Gift shops make a damn lot of money, even in this time of recession, but those who truly mint money are the luxury gift shops.
Savoir-Faire is a recently launched gifts website by the much talked about princess, Kaisa Al Tharani. Savoir-Faire even features luxury gifts designed by Loree Rodkin, whose styles have been worn by Michelle Obama. Rachel Zoe who has her own fashion show, the Rachel Zoe Project, also shows her designs on the site. Kasia states that business is booming even during a time of economic crisis because people do not stop buying gifts even when things get hard.
Well, perhaps that is just the lucky elite who have not been affected by the recession. However, she also adds that she has noticed customers to Savoir-Faire buying little gifts of comfort for themselves. One gift box available at Savoir-Faire has little goodies like silk scarves, oils and more and goes for the price of $3,987.
