All That Lights Up Is Gold

Weren’t we glad to hear of the reincarnation of the iconic Poul Henningsen Artichoke Light that was sold off for a whopping 18,000 pounds. And now we hear, that news will be stale once the much-awaited 24 carat gold leaf version called PH Artichoke Gold hits the market. It will be sold at an unbelievable 55,648 pounds. A price that lamps will take lightyears to break.

Part of a limited edition concept, the world shall see only 50 of these spectacular light fittings which owe their origination to the Langeliniepavillonen restaurant in Copenhagen approximately half a century ago. The original design was cast in copper with a finish in a matt surface, a basic pattern that has been kept intact even in the new collection that we just told you about.

And wake from the dizzy stupor the information must have left you in. After all, the PH Artichoke Gold is available only at Louis Poulsen Lighting in Copenhagen. And there are just 50 pieces. Hurry!!!
