GRAVITY balanse recliner just turned 25 in style! To commemorate the occasion, Varier Furniture (the makers) have designed a special signed and numbered special edition GRAVITY balans chairs with a limited production of 250 only. A first time attempt of its kind by Varier. The Scandinavian designer Peter Opsvik is the man designing and happily signingthe special edition chairs. Donning a special metal name plate, the chair is accompanied by Opsvik’s latest book ‘Rethinking Sitting’.

For the uninitiated, GRAVITY balans is proud to be the only recliner that can assume four different sitting positions. So, you can either put your legs onto the leg cushion to kneel and lean forward; or sit back and place your feet on the floor cushions; or lean back with feet resting on the leg cushions; or lean back even further with your legs lifted higher than your head. Each position is better than the other, giving the ultimate pleasure in relaxation.

The recliner’ssimple elegant lines are timeless, and it is constructed of all natural sustainable materials. So get ready, available in 5 fabrics, 4 woods and over 250 colours, GRAVITY balanse is ready to give you a zero gravity experience for just $1,200.
