The Porsche Design Yacht Is About To Sail

What are your plans for the new year’s eve? Are you going to the most luxurious hotel in the world to party? Or travelling to an exotic island to simply laze around. Or want to celebrate with the love of your life in Paris? Well you must be thinking these options are rather too cliché at a time when we haven’t even reached mid way. So here is something so unique that you can’t even think of, because it is yet to be finished. It is one of the most awaited yachts in the world; the Royal Falcon Fleet. The news is that this truly exclusive yacht made in tandem with Porsche, is all set to be launched later this year.

The Porsche design studio has given its best while conceptualising and creating the hull and superstructure of this miracle. Its 41.15 metre catamaran is powered by twin 4,600hp MTU 16V 4000 M93L diesel engines and twin Rolls-Royce KaMeWa waterjets. It will be capable of a top speed of 35 knots and at a cruising speed of 30 knots, it will be able to traverse the seamless oceans for a range of 2,000 nautical miles. This super creation is on its way to Nynäshamn in Sweden for completion and the first vessel in this highly anticipated series will be delivered by the end of 2010.

So this new year, get ready to glide in style like never before. Experience a yacht that’s true to its name, the Royal Falcon Fleet.
