Moynat is known for its traditional know how of the craft and has been skillfully creating luggage and travel goods. The small but versatile trunk will be available against order at the brand’s Paris flagship on Rue Saint-Honoré. Actually the trunk comes with its very own Dutch style bicycle but if desired it can be adapted to other cycles as well.
The Trunk Conceals a Fully Equipped Picnic Basket
This exclusive trunk is targeted towards the super rich riders who go for the most expensive bicycles. These riders need luxurious picnic baskets that contain everything they need and they want it packed in style. And that’s exactly what the designers at Moynat have tried to do with this trunk. The trunk has been designed to be attached to the handlebars and sit on the front wheel. The trunk has a structure made from poplar wood and is finished with Moynat’s signature Art Deco Initiale canvas. When you open the trunk it almost surprises you as it turns into a fully equipped picnic basket.
The Trunk has Special Case and Holders for Everything
The picnic basket features aluminum thermos to keep your beverages hot or cold. The basket holds porcelain goblets so that your style is not compromised even when you are outdoors. The trunk also boasts of plate and cutlery holders and a sandwich drawer. There are other cases to store other picnic necessities. Brown leather strips have been provided to hold silverware and napkins. The front panel of the trunk, when opened, drops down to form a small table. The luxury luggage brand has been very active this year and had launched a lavish pop up trunk called Breakfast in Bed Trunk and is already available in few select luxury hotels. It contains everything you might need for a luxurious breakfast experience including carafes, dishes, napkins and even truffle graters.
