The Skinniest House In NYC Is Up For Sale

It has universally been agreed upon that the NYC real estate scene is a little more than unusual. But this once, we require residents who have no fear of claustrophobia as perhaps the skinnier townhouse in the place goes up for sale. Situated at 75.5 Bedford Street in West Village, this property has a width of only 98 inches which really just a little over eight. We do think that it will need a very deft hand with the interior decoration. Nothing hefty of giant please.

This one is a three bedroom beauty that was built and neatly tucked between 75 and 77 Bedford Street way back in 1873. The entire property measures up to 990 square feet spread across three gorgeous stories.

And if it helps to justify the price tag of $2.75 million, he house was owned by famed anthropologist Margaret Mead and poet Edna St. Vincent Millay. Several renovations had led the house to comprise of a garret skylight and oversized windows that provide a lot of natural light and keeps the cramped up feeling at bay.
