Ray Sidney Invests in The Ritz Carlton Dove Mountain to Make it Viable

Ray Sidney, one of the pioneers of Google, has come to the rescue of The Residences at The Ritz Carlton, Dove Mountain. He has invested sufficiently in the project to make it completely debt free and creating lower cost opportunities for luxury home buyers interested in purchasing Dove Mountain’s luxurious homes or custom estate home sites.
The project has been developed by David Mehl of Cottonwood Properties.

The property is located in the foothills of the Tortolita Mountains here near Tucson. The neighborhood also has a Jack Nicklaus Signature Golf Course and the Dove Mountain luxury resort hotel. Mehl was very happy that a project of this size is complete and fully functional in a tough and adverse economic environment. The prices have been reworked downwards, thanks to the restructuring of the capital. At $400 a square foot the value to the buyers is irresistible.

It is Sidney’s personal mission to invest in and develop sustainable real estate projects. He is a Harvard graduate with a Ph.D. from MIT. He was the third employee of Google when he joined them as a software engineer in 1999.  He left in 2003 and has since been involved in a variety of philanthropic enterprises focused on the environment and education.
